Time Zone Setting
Why do I need to set my time zone?
The time zone setting is needed to provide a calendar download file for your monthly events. While most people attending your events will be in your same time zone, this is a piece of information that the download file requires (ICS file) when importing the file into a calendar application (e.g. Outlook, Google Calendar, etc.). When the time zone information is properly set, a "Download" link will then be provided on your site for your month's events.
How do I set my time zone?
You may be familiar with time zone designations like Eastern or Central time, but this time zone setting is referring to a geographical designation and it is what all our computers and devices use to convert times from one time zone to another. To set your time zone, you will need to edit your site's Post information.
Open the Post Information edit form.
Paste the time zone value you copied from the Time Zone Picker tool.
